This issue of the ISS Peace and Security Council Report includes articles on 1) the decision of the African Union Peace and Security Council (PSC) to deploy a humanitarian mission against the spread of Ebola; 2) the report from the AU Commission on the situation in the Central African Republic (CAR) and the African-led International Support Mission there; 3) the deteriorating situation of Libya as a priority for AU discussions and meetings; and 4) the postponement of PSC’s visit to South Sudan due to deepening concern over breaches in the country's civil war ceasefire agreement.
