This commentary discusses Ukraine's parliamentary elections prior to their taking place on October 26, 2014 and provides a forecast of the outcome of the vote. The author suggests that the election will probably bring about a significant change in the composition of Ukraine's parliament, with it being probable that only two of the five existing parties will remain represented, something that also means that there will be a large number of newly elected members. He also suggests that all of the main parties in the new parliament will have a pro-European outlook, something which could help the country's reform program, but bring further criticism from Moscow.
