This is a transcript of a discussion with Giandomenico Picco and Gabrielle Rifkind on their book ‘The Fog of Peace: The Human Face of Conflict Resolution’, which addresses conflict resolution and peace negotiations. In the book, they contend that a new approach to international peacemaking is required; one which recognizes geopolitical complexities, but also takes into account how people think and the mindset of the parties involved in conflict resolution and peace negotiation processes.
