This commentary discusses the ongoing territorial dispute between China and India in Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh and what it reveals about China's intentions and strategic direction. The author contends that although strategic competition is inevitable between Delhi and Beijing, both countries would be better off leaving the dispute dormant.
