This paper looks at the scale of human trafficking in Ukraine as well as the legislation which the country has passed to address this crime. The author argues that Kiev has not developed sufficient institutional or financial capacity to combat human trafficking on the national level. She then proposes measures the European Union and civil society can take to assist Ukraine in fighting human trafficking and helping its victims.
