This book examines the different factors that characterize discussions on labor migration policies in the EU as well as how they compare to those in South America, Canada and the US. Among other issues, the authors focuses on such issues as migrant rights; discrimination against migrants; the challenges involved in the recognition by EU countries of migrants' acquired diplomas, skills and work experience; and the future of EU labor immigration policy.
