This report examines US-Pakistan nuclear relations since the late 1990s based on Track II diplomacy between American, Pakistani and Indian stakeholders. In particular, the report 1) discusses Pakistan’s relationship with the United States from 1998 onwards; 2) provides a comprehensive survey of the issues surrounding Pakistan's nuclear program; 3) outlines a way forward for the American-Pakistani nuclear relations; and 4) recommends how US policy makers can improve the Track II process with Pakistan.
