This commentary focuses on what it sees as the EU’s flawed responses to the now troubled Arab Spring countries. Indeed, being a bystander or merely dealing with the symptoms of problems is no substitute for reconsidering Brussels' policy priorities and frameworks for its southern neighborhood.
