This commentary discusses China-Poland relations and the role local level cooperation can play in the ties between the two countries. The authors argue that central government level relations, while important, are insufficient for the two countries to reach their policy goals in their ties with one another and the local government level is the one that is best positioned to stimulate the development of practical Chinese-Polish cooperation. They also provide recommendations for Poland and its local authorities on how they can help this along.
