This commentary examines EU-Moldova relations and the results of Moldova's November 2014 parliamentary elections. The author suggests that although the elections resulted in a victory for the EU-oriented parties that have governed Moldova since 2009, the strong support for pro-Russian parties as evidenced by the vote indicates that the country is still deeply divided and that Russian influence over the country is not likely decrease.
