This paper reports on the outcomes and proceedings of the US-Republic of Korea-Japan Extended Deterrence Trilateral Dialogue held on July 23-24, 2014. In particular, the author reports on the discussions conducted on how to improve security cooperation between these countries as well as how they could effectively respond to the threat posed by any further nuclear and rocket tests conducted by North Korea.
