This paper analyzes the phenomena of drought-induced displacement of pastoralists in parts of northern Kenya, southern Ethiopia and southern Somalia. It provides evidence-based estimates of the likelihood of disaster-induced displacement in these countries and attempts to quantify human displacement risk.
