This edition of the RAD focuses on Russia's foreign policy and its relationship to the ongoing troubles in Ukraine. More specifically, the three articles consider 1) the values and interests that are guiding Moscow’s actions toward Ukraine; 2) how the Ukraine standoff has laid bare the political and ideological differences between the EU and Russia; 3) the different perceptions Central Asian states have of the Ukraine crisis; and 4) how the latter perceptions are shaping Central Asian relations with Moscow.
