This edition of the RAD considers the troubles facing the Russian economy. More specifically, it 1) assesses why the latter has indeed lost momentum; 2) reviews Thane Gustafon’s 2012 book, “Wheel of Fortune: The Battle for Oil and Power in Russia”; and 3) provides statistics and survey data on the instability of the Russian economy.
