This report summarizes the main points of discussion at the Council of Councils Sixth Regional Conference on ‘Managing the new Global Commons’ that was held from September 28 to 30, 2014. It includes a summary of discussions on managing the Arctic, preventing the global financial system from spiraling into a crisis of confidence, breaking the deadlock on climate change, containing global conflicts, governing the Internet, and promoting trade.
