This report examines the effectiveness of the climate change activities of the two main Swiss international cooperation agencies; the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) between 2000 and 2012. The authors contend that Swiss international action on climate change in the period covered was ‘moderately to strongly’ effective and that its effectiveness improved over time. They also provide recommendations on how Switzerland can continue to improve these activities in the future.
