This paper examines how US-India bilateral relations could improve following the 2014 election of a center-right government in India and back-to-back visits by the US Secretary of State and US Secretary of Defense. The author argues that relations between the two countries security should be built on a pragmatic and interest-based foundation which favors stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
