This commentary discusses the European Fund for Strategic Investment (EFSI), which is a European Commission plan to boost investment in the EU. The author contends that the plan is an innovative solution to the problems arising from stagnation in the EU. However, he also suggest that the advantages of the plan do not overcome its flaws due to its potential negative impact on the structure of the EU budget. The author also looks at what the plan means for Poland and suggests it would not be beneficial to the country.
