This book examines the status of cooperation amongst states in South Asia and explores the possibility of greater cooperation in the region, particularly in the areas of trade, security and external relations. It also explores the utility of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) as a platform for the area’s future integration as well as the question of cooperation with China and regional leadership.
