This paper discusses the potential for closer bilateral defense cooperation between Poland and France. The authors first discuss French defense policy in light of budgetary cuts as well as Paris's attitude towards military cooperation with Poland. They then look at Polish military and defense policy as well as Warsaw's stance on cooperation with France in light of the Ukraine crisis. In conclusion, they argue that there are limited opportunities for a close military relationship between the two countries, although some cooperation between the countries would be of benefit to both.
