This issue of the RAD explores some of the policies Russia is pursuing in its energy relations. More specifically, it includes articles on 1) Russia’s recent decision to cancel the South Stream Gas pipeline and what it means for Moscow’s energy export strategy; 2) why Russia–EU negotiations on the pipeline stalled and whether Turkey will now seize the opportunity to cooperate more closely with Moscow on a bilateral level; and 3) the growing energy collaboration between Russia and China.
