This issue of the ISS Peace and Security Council (PSC) Report includes articles on 1) the PSC January 2015 summit and its outcomes, including its decision to defer the tabling of a crucial report on South Sudan and to send a regional force to combat Boko Haram; 2) the PSC's concerns over the 14 elections that will take place in Africa during 2015; and 3) the state of the crisis in Libya and the peace talks aimed at resolving the situation in the country. The issue also includes an interview with Ambassador Maman Sidikou, Special Representative of the African Union Commission Chairperson for Somalia, about the gains made by the AU mission against the terrorist group al-Shabaab.
