This report looks at the experiences of UK-registered international NGOs to examine the impact of UK counter-terrorism measures on these organizations’ work in conflict zones. The authors also assess the perspective of the UK government, banks and charities of the impact counter-terrorist legislation has on humanitarian action as well as how these actors and aid agencies have contributed to the negative impact of such laws. Finally, they explore what these actors can do to address the problems created by such counter-terrorism legislation for the provision of international aid from the UK.
