To Eyal Weizman, global politics isn’t just attributable to the patterned interaction of macro-actors such as states. By ‘reading’ heterogeneous materials such as digital images, debris, reforested areas, blast patterns in ruins, etc., he demystifies controversial events across the globe. Read about his exploitation of ‘forensic architecture’ methods in this Theory Talks transcript. (Note: Weizman is Professor of Spatial and Visual Cultures at Goldsmiths, the University of London.)
