This paper examines how the power of Ukrainian oligarchic groups has changed since the Maidan revolution of early 2014 in the country. In general, the author contends that although there have been major changes in the balance of power among the key Ukrainian oligarchs and government declarations for reforms, the country’s oligarchs are unlikely to lose their influence on Ukrainian politics and its economy in the foreseeable future.
