This bulletin prognosticates on the future of Sino-American relations under the new Trump Administration. While Chinese officials initially ignored Trump’s controversial contact with Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen, the new president’s recent criticism of the “One China” principle threatens to undermine the very foundations of what remains a fragile relationship.
