This bulletin discusses the European Commission’s plans to integrate the capital market in the EU as well as what an integrated financial market would mean for Poland and other Central and Eastern European countries. The author outlines some of the challenges that hinder the building of an effective capital markets union and provides recommendations for Poland on how it can influence the project.
