This issue includes articles on 1) the PSC's efforts to find a solution to the dispute over the Western Sahara; 2) the PSC's stance on the situation in South Sudan as well as discussions on the fate of women and children in armed conflict; and 3) the PSC's concern about renewed violence in the Abyei region between Sudan and South Sudan. The issue also includes an interview with Namibian ambassador Anne Namakau Mutela on the field mission by the PSC and the European Union Political and Security Committee to Mali.
