In light of the 2 months needed by Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu to form a government after the March 2015 Knesset elections, this paper takes a closer look at Israel's electoral system. More specifically, the author discusses 1) the historical development of the system; 2) the proposed and enacted changes which have already taken place; 3) the results of the 2015 election and subsequent desire for electoral reform; and 4) some of the potential electoral changes which could be implemented.
