This paper uses the results of a survey of experts to examine the economic and social implications of the migration of people from Poland to Norway for both countries. The author contends that the results show that this migration has brought economic benefits for both countries, but also social challenges. She also contends that they show that cooperation between the two countries on enabling the integration of migrants could bring mutual benefits. Finally, she suggests that the biggest challenge for such cooperation lies in dealing with different types of migration, which can range from short stays to permanent settlement.
