This paper discusses the nature of defense industry relations between the United States and Poland. In particular, it overviews Poland's experience with this particular type of cooperation since 1989, the barriers that prevent deeper ties -- many of which are only imagined by Poland or can be overcome -- and what goals Warsaw and Washington should pursue for the future.
