This report highlights three ways in which China is becoming increasingly active in international security affairs -- 1) the loosening of its noninterference policy towards other countries’ domestic affairs; 2) the deepening of its security partnerships; and 3) the People's Liberation Army’s increasing power projection capabilities. The report's authors also examine the strategic implications of the above shifts and recommends ways that the US might respond to them.
