This research paper examines a technical approach to neoliberalism applied to the Post-Soviet fiscal reform in the Russian Federation. The author discusses two main problems: structural transformations of the associated marketization and the political orientations in promoting neoliberal reforms. The study also highlights important questions in critical discussions of neoliberalism such as the implementation of the spatial forms and social norms of Soviet socialism.
