This issue of the RAD contains three articles which explore Russia's growing engagement with Asia. The first article broadly describes Russia's 'pivot' towards Asia, while the second one looks at how China and Russia are cooperating with each other against the West and in boosting Central Asia's economies. The third article then wraps things up by focusing on the attempts by Russia, Thailand and Vietnam to develop joint economic projects and coordinate their efforts against transnational crime.
