This JOBS issue contains articles presented at a November 2014 conference on Russian power projection in the 21st century. The pieces specifically focus on 1) the motivations that drive Russia's foreign policy and what led to the country's involvement in the 2014 Ukraine crisis; 2) what the annexation of Crimea means for the Black Sea region; 3) the implications of Russia's annexation of Crimea for the West and what policy Western states should adopt towards Moscow; 4) Russian military capabilities and doctrine; 5) the Eurasian Economic Union and what it means for the EU; and 6) Russia's use of the media as a way to project its power in Lithuania. The issue also includes four book reviews.
