This conference report summarizes the results of the Canadian 3-D approach in Haiti. Canada's effort to coordinate defense, development, and diplomacy in foreign policy is known as the new 3-D approach. This coordinated effort has been used effectively in Afghanistan, and may serve as a model for future Canadian international efforts. The conference analyzes the possibilities and problems of implementing this approach in Haiti.
