Publication

This paper analyzes a rights-based approach to development. The author discusses civil and political rights as well as economic, social and cultural rights as a component of human development. Despite of challenges, the author advocates the necessity to take a comprehensive approach to the rights-based issues. The paper provides an optimistic outlook on the rights-based approach and gives examples of building dialog within the humanitarian community.
