This policy brief argues that the Canadian government should consult more closely with the Jewish/Israeli diaspora community within the country, particularly when making foreign policy decisions that center on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Greater consultation, after all, could lead to more comprehensive policy positions on Canada's part, but only if Ottawa takes certain steps to strengthen its ties with the Jewish community first.
