This commentary discusses the economic reforms that the EU carried out in the eurozone following the economic crisis that struck Greece and other southern European countries in the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis. The author also discusses the proposals being made on how to continue to reform the EU's Economic and Monetary Union and improve competitiveness in the eurozone as well as some of the key shortcomings of these proposals. Finally, he discusses what policy Poland should adopt towards economic reform in the EU.
