This study examines the results of an Iranian public opinion survey that was conducted in August 2015 on the country’s nuclear agreement and related issues. The latter include 1) the terms of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), as well as their benefits and risks; 2) the public's view of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani; and 3) how the public perceives Iran's relations with the United States, the P5+1 countries, and Europe in the wake of the nuclear deal. The study’s authors also elaborate on the high expectations and misperceptions Iranians have about the deal.
