This paper discusses the importance of implementing a legitimate peace infrastructure in Colombia if there is to be a lasting peace agreement between the Colombian government and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC). The author then examines Columbia's National System for Comprehensive Attention to and Reparations for Victims (SNARIV) and what lessons can be drawn from how it has been implemented over the last four years. She concludes that SNARIV can rightly be considered both a central precedent for and a possible building block of a future peace infrastructure in Colombia.
