Will Laos' Xayaburi and Don Sahong dam projects negatively affect other sectors of the Mekong River’s “water-food-energy-livelihoods nexus”? The authors of this report argue that pending design changes to both hydropower projects may well invalidate the fears of those who worry about the possibility of depleted fish stocks and unnatural sediment transfers.
