This paper argues that exiting the EU would leave the UK with a number of foreign policy, trade and defense policy problems. The author also discusses 1) what he sees as the flaws in the arguments from those in the UK who wish to leave the Union; and; 2) how the other 27 member states of the EU are likely to be adversely affected by a Brexit.
