This commentary argues that it’s high time for the NATO Alliance to confront a variety of problems before the upcoming Warsaw Summit (July 2016). The problems center on 1) coping with hybrid threats; 2) fully implementing the decisions made at the Wales Summit in 2014; 3) budget shares and responsibilities; 4) the roles and status of nuclear weapons in NATO defense planning; and 5) the defensibility of the Baltic States.
