This CC issue takes stock of key bilateral relationships within East Asia and between East Asian countries and the US during the last third of 2015. The articles 1) specifically focus on the economic, political and security developments that transpired during the period in question, and 2) provide chronologies of significant bilaterally-centered events. Indeed, by providing interpretative analyses and factual accounts of key events, the CC issue illuminates the not-so-obvious patterns in Asian bilateral relations and regional security.
