This backgrounder takes stock of the continuing Brexit debate in the UK. In particular, it explores 1) the past strengths and weaknesses of being part of the EU; 2) the arguments being made in favor of a British exit; and 3) what impact a departure could have, both domestically and on the rest of Europe.
