This paper gauges how important the EU oil market was – both as a source of revenues and investments – to Russian producers from 2011 to 2015. The text's author specifically highlights the internal and external factors that affected the producers’ position in Europe and how it might evolve in the future. (An important variable in the latter case is the rising crude oil cooperation between Russia and Asian countries such as China.)
