This brief argues us that in the Levant water is becoming a growing source of instability and potential conflict. More specifically, the text's authors explain 1) the ‘how and why’ of this problem; 2) the relationship between water and international aid in the region, both past and present; and 3) the remedial steps that might be taken to address the problem in the future.
