This report examines Israel's decision to construct a wall to divide Israel and the West Bank. The authors cite one of the main proponents of the wall concept in Israel, Dan Scheuftan, and criticize his book that has served as a guide for policy-makers. Whereas typically most attention is paid to the economic consequences of the wall's construction, this report addresses a range of accompanying issues.
