This edition of the Swiss Military Revue features five articles on assorted aspects of military power, three of which are in German and two in English. More specifically, the articles look at 1) the strains and constraints in Turkey-NATO relations; 2) the history and state of conventional arms control in Europe; 3) a method to analyze the development of armed forces; 4) the influence of war historian and theorist General Antoine-Henri Jomini on Switzerland’s military doctrine; and 5) humanitarian action related to unexploded ordnances, mines and other explosive remnants of war.
